This policy covers The Drip App and Sales Manager (together, the "Software"), desktop applications published by Chad Waldo ("we," "us"). It explains what information the Software accesses, how it's used, and how it's stored.
The Drip App and Sales Manager are Windows desktop applications. There is no cloud server, no remote database, and no account system operated by us. Your prospect list, call/email activity, and settings are stored in a local SQLite database on your own computer, inside your Windows user profile. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to us.
If you choose to connect a Gmail account, the Software uses Google's OAuth2 sign-in to request a single permission:
gmail.send) — used only when you click "Send" inside the app, to deliver an email through your own Gmail account.The Software does not request, and cannot access, the contents of your inbox, your contacts, or any other Google data. Your Google authorization token is stored locally on your machine (in your Windows %APPDATA% folder) and is used solely to authenticate outgoing send requests to the Gmail API. It is never sent to us or to any third party.
The Drip App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke this access at any time from inside the app (Settings → Disconnect Gmail) or directly from your Google Account permissions page.
If you use Outlook instead of Gmail, the Software integrates with your local Outlook desktop installation to send email and, optionally, to scan your inbox for bounce and reply notifications so it can keep your outreach cadence up to date. This happens entirely on your machine through Outlook's local automation interface — no Outlook data is transmitted to us.
Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Payhip. Payhip collects the payment and contact information needed to deliver your license key and download link (such as your name and email address); we receive only what's necessary to fulfill your order and provide support. Payhip's handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Sales Manager is an optional companion app for team managers. Reps who choose to use it export an activity file from The Drip App and share it directly with their manager (for example, by file transfer or email) — this exchange happens outside of and independently from our Software, and we do not have access to it.
The Software is a business tool intended for adult sales professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
